If you have a magnaclean fitted before any problems surface, such as cold radiators, or pump problems, then the build up of sludge can be stopped. If for example you have a policy with British Gas or Homeserve and they give you a high price for a powerflush you are not in a great position to get another quote. If you get another plumbing and heating company in to do the powerflush the next time there is a problem with your system the policy provider will claim the other company have done something wrong during the powerflush and void the policy. So work again will not be covered, despite you continuing to pay the monthly premium. This means you aren't really in any position to turn down whatever price they quote for a Powerflush.
